All those attending should have signed up by now for the 2013 Congress which takes place at Wraysbury Dragons clubhouse tomorrow, 16th November. Training tips and sport development workshops will start the day at 10:30 followed by discussion on the topics below and open forum after lunch in the afternoon. Well, 8 out of 10 assuming all the proposed events proceed according to the bids received. The best 8 qualifying events will score league points with additional events potentially being used as tie breakers in the event that first, second or third places achieved are equal. Variety is the aim for next season with a range of qualifying race classes providing the challenge to score position points. Grand Dragons BNTS
The second BNTS session for the prospective 2014 Grand Dragons squad (50 and over on 1 June 2014) will take place at Wraysbury Dragons / Wraysbury Skiff and Punt CLub on Sunday 17 November. This is the same venue as the Congress which takes place on the Saturday. All qualifying BDA members with the ambition to achieve elite paddling standard are welcome to attend. Please let the coaches know if you are planning to take part by emailing email@example.com (mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org). Include your preferred side and approximate weight to help with intial boat setup. An indication of previous experience would also be useful.Those attending should aim to arrive by 9:15 to prepare and be ready to paddle at 10:00

Basic Helm and Coaching Courses
Tim Smith will be running a Basic Helm Course at Bray Lake on Sunday 24th November 2013.This will be followed by a Level 1 coaching course on the weekend of 7-8th December 2013 and a Level 2 Coaching Course on the weekend of 1-2nd Feb 2014.
